Hamber Island House

Set on Hamber Island, this custom residence was designed to feel deeply connected to its surroundings. The home has a very specific sense of place – quiet, private, natural, and removed from the pace of the city – and the interiors were developed to support that feeling rather than compete with it.

Warm wood, stone, glass, and layered lighting create an interior that feels grounded and atmospheric. The stair, wine display, fireplace, dining area, and custom millwork each bring a distinct moment to the home, but the overall palette remains calm and cohesive. Natural textures and rich material contrasts were used to give the spaces depth, while still allowing the views, light, and setting to remain central.

This is a home that feels both refined and relaxed – designed for gathering, retreating, and experiencing the quiet character of island living.
