Studio Ten’s exterior work ranges from refining architectural concepts to designing homes from the ground up. In many projects, we collaborate with the project architect, builder, and client to ensure the exterior feels cohesive and aligned with the overall design direction.

While the architect is typically responsible for the building form, code requirements, and permit drawings, Studio Ten is often brought in to develop or refine the exterior expression – including material palettes, colours, cladding, stone, brick, soffits, lighting, doors, railings, and finishing details.

For custom homes, renovations, and larger residential projects, we provide design direction from the earliest stages, helping shape the look and feel of the home inside and out. Our goal is to create exteriors that feel connected to the architecture, suited to the setting, and reflective of the way the home is meant to live.
